Island and Dunedin Causeway can also be reached by your very
own personal watercraft. Many people take their boat
to this island for a fun family day of sunbathing and relaxing.
Pack a picnic and a blanket and pull your boat up to this well
cared for island. It's a great way to spend a weekend while
enjoying your watercraft and the sand.
Other Beaches near Dunedin
Even though many residents enjoy
having their very own beaches, Clearwater beach is located
only 15-20 minutes south and can easily be seen across the
Gulf right from the Dunedin Causeway. There are many other larger beaches nearby such as St. Petersburg and
Indian Rocks beaches. They have larger hotels, great seafood restaurants
and plenty of activities. Jet ski's, fishing charters, live entertainment
